Some great new music from ONEWE, INFINITE, W24, 8TURN, BTOB!
“The Starry Night” by ONEWE
It’s crazy to think WE: Dream Chaser is only ONEWE’s second full length album. But it’s wonderful to have it of course! And title track “The Starry Night” is an excellent showcase of what the talented band is capable of. Composed by Kanghyun, the track has a bright and exciting sound with a dreamy and hopeful message. From soaring ballads to groovy pop tracks and of course the band’s signature rock sound; the other 10 tracks on the album feature ONEWE’s great versatility. The tracks that immediately caught my ear are “Coincidence”, “Rise Again”, and “Dreamcatcher”. A must-listen!
“Dangerous” by INFINITE
Always great to have INFINITE releasing music and still going strong after 15 years! Like Infinite is another great album from them. And title track “Dangerous” is a refreshingly energetic track with a cheerful disco funk sound. The other five tracks on the album, plus an instrumental of “Dangerous”, are all equally amazing. And it too is a must-listen album!
“Seize the Day” by W24
W24 releases an excellent album with Seize The Day. The title track of the same name is a soaring, energetic rock track. The accompanying music video is so good as well and it is an excellent showcase for the talented band. The other four tracks on the album are equally great with my particular favorites the ballad “Thought of You” and the closer “Rooftop”. Check out W24 if you haven’t already!
“Leggo” by 8TURN
8TURN releases their single Leggo containing the title track of same name and B-side track “I Want You Now”. “Leggo” is an old-school hip-hop track and its energetic, funky vibe allows the group to deliver a fun performance. “I Want You Now” slows down the vibe a bit with a sweet, dreamy summer melody. A solid comeback for the group!
“Love Today” by BTOB
BTOB is back with a new album BTODAY and title track “Love Today” which is a nice rock-infused pop song with a hopeful and comforting message. The rest of the album follows suit with five more tracks in a similar vibe. Though I particularly like “Please Stay”, “Say Yes”, and “Be Alright”.
