Ivar says Britney must have been the meekest of the Traitors.

“Do I seem meek to you?”

Britney says the Traitors did not kill their best friends while all hers were murdered. Dylan is about to offer up another reason he is Faithful, but after Britney interjects, he doesn’t say it anymore, “Jesus Christ.”

of course Alan would leave Dolores’ pouch last! Lol The show is making it seem Dolores want to banish again, but I doubt it. Especially no more time left in episode. lol

One more commercial break and afterwards, Dolores’s pouch is green.

Episode Thoughts

I thought this was a great episode and fulfilling finale!

Obviously, it started with the wonderful moment Danielle was banished! Lol To be honest, I definitely had my doubts about how Britney would end up voting. I stumbled upon lots of fans arguing that post-show proof showed that it would be impossible for Britney to vote against Danielle. And I almost believed them. But I think that doubt I had made the moment be even more exciting and awesome for me.

From a game standpoint, it was the only thing Britney could do. She couldn’t take a chance being the only one not voting for Danielle when she could be revealed as a Traitor. So in a way, it was a lose-lose situation for Britney since the suspicion will always be on her, no matter what. Might as well give it a shot this way.

And Danielle definitely did her part to make this a crazy season. But somehow, I just wasn’t a fan of hers like I was before the show and acknowledging how good she was on Big Brother 3.

At this point, I was kind of rooting for Britney to end up winning the whole thing. But it became very clear that with one more Round Table, the others were going to vote her out no matter what. I think that might be the strategy of keeping Traitors all the way to the end.

So keeping a Traitor to the end ensures they have someone to banish on this final Round Table. Especially if they have no suspicions on anyone else. Best to keep that sure Traitor as long as you can. I don’t read the interviews or watch podcasts with the players, but I wonder if they’ve been asked that? Do they keep sure Traitors as long as possible?

Next up, the Final Mission was fun. Not as physical as last season though. And I was definitely confused when it appeared that retrieving the cars and money would be the task. lol So the helicopter, TAR-ish circle dropping task was a simple, but fun addition. And I do know that many fans don’t even care for the missions and just like watching the lying and backstabbing and stuff like that anyway.

The Final Round Table was fine. I don’t know if I’m desensitized, but I didn’t think Britney’s arguments were all that vicious. At least not like the way Dylan made it seem. Or even the way Britney described her arguments either. I thought her and Dylan’s arguments were fine and valid. Good points from both.

But of course, if it was between Britney and Dylan, then Britney was going to get the vote for sure.

After Britney was banished, the show tried to play up Dolores’ doubts of Dylan. But I think it was pretty obvious they would end game with the four of them. And that’s honestly a good way to wrap up the season.

Season Thoughts

Overall, I think this is my favorite season of The Traitors US so far. Of course there were plenty of frustrating moments. But for me it comes down to two things. One, the episodes were fun to watch. Especially the Traitor-on-Traitor violence and the explosive Round Tables. This really was the most fun and excitement I’ve had watching a reality show in a while. And two, the game ended in a way that I was actually happy with.

I think it was probably the most fulfilling and satisfying finale of the three seasons. Sure, Cirie deserved to win season one. Yeah, I was rooting for the Traitors to lose last season. But there’s something about being happy whether the remaining Faithfuls won or Britney won here. I think after the exhausting season (in a mostly good way), I was ready to be happy for either outcome.

Last season, the pre-show stuff they all brought in really ruined the in-game stuff. This season, that was either at a minimum or contributed in ways that did not provide an unfair advantage or a disadvantage for any one player.

Honestly, the most surprising thing from this season is how CBS’s throwaway Big Brother Christmas special would play such an integral plot point for this season of The Traitors. lol I think Reindeer Games has had more cultural impact than any season of the mothership series in years. Maybe a decade or more! Lolol Absolutely insane. But hilarious as well.

The Missions this season were good. I still wish there was more secrecy in who wins Shields. It can throw in some good twists to the Traitors game without completely ruining it.

The Seer is an interesting twist, but not so much so after realizing The Seer could just lie anyway.

My wish for season 4 of The Traitors, other than just wishing Charla & Mirna get cast (lol), I think it’s to have non-gamer Traitors for once. I think it’s obvious that you should probably target the Big Brother or Survivor players first, no? So hopefully, some more interesting Traitors choices. Even if seeing the drama this season in the Turret was probably the most fun.

As for the reunion, I honestly didn’t even care to see most of them again. This has felt like such a long season, I forgot most of these people were even on the show.

As much as I enjoyed this season, it’s not like I’m going to follow any of these people post-show. So I just fast forwarded through most of it.

But ugh with Andy Cohen. I’m definitely not a Bravo viewer. So for him to start the reunion talking about the Housewives and then have the first question to the Traitors be about killing off his precious Housewives first? Please just shut up. Omg lol

But overall, this was a fun season to watch. Probably the most fun I’ve had watching a reality competition program years save for The Amazing Race Australia 7. But this was certainly much more dramatic!
