“Carnival” by NOMAD
I’ve really enjoyed NOMAD’s music and am so happy to have been introduced to them last year. They celebrate their first anniversary with the release of special single “Carnival” which also signals the start of their 2025 activities. The pop-dance track expresses the precious memories like a happy festival. And it’s a great celebratory track for their successful first year! Excited to see and hear what they have in store this 2025!
“Blue” by ZEROBASEONE
ZEROBASEONE releases the bright, hopeful “Blue”. The title track of their latest album Blue Paradise is a refreshing pop-dance track with its meaningful and romantic lyrics. The rest of the album is solid as well, but none really stand out after first listen aside from the title track.
“Your Next Words” by EASTSHINE
EASTSHINE debuted in 2023 and recently participated in the survival show Re:Born which I actually did not know about even though it apparently included many of the underrated groups I enjoy listening to. But their latest release “Your Next Words” popped up on my YouTube recommendations so I checked it out. It’s actually a pre-release track and it’s pretty good! It is a fresh pop love song. And it’s definitely got me interested in checking out their upcoming release and previous releases too!
“Hashtag(#Cheese)” by AWIN
AWIN make their debut with the title track “Hashtag(#Cheese)”. The hip-hop-powered pop dance track is fun track about falling for someone on social media. (I’m sure this can be the theme song for many a social media lover out there hehe) But it’s a solid debut for this rookie group! They deliver a charismatic performance in the music video. Will keep an eye on them!
“Hoper” by Kim Jae Joong
You can depend on a good performance from a vet like Kim Jae Joong. And his release “Hoper” is a wonderfully hopeful ballad that showcases his talent as a songwriter and performer!
