“Sunset Queen” by Ryo Takizawa
What a treat to learn that Kamen Rider Gavv‘s Ryo Takizawa is also a singer! So I definitely had to check him out and wowow! He’s awesome! The song I checked out was “Sunset Queen” which he released last year. And it’s definitely my speed! The energetic track has the best summer vibes. And it’s fun seeing Ryo Takizawa’s performance showcase a different side of himself, especially compared to the villainous Nyelv on Gavv! Can’t wait to see and hear more from him as a performer!
“nu kidz” by ARrC
ARrC make their first comeback and “nu kidz” is a very intriguing title track! An addictive pop track with some retro funk and contemporary sounds, it is a bit different from their debut. But an equally unique performance that sets the rookie group apart from the field. Very nice!
“Twilight” by ASTRO
ASTRO releases a special 9th anniversary single in “Twilight”. It’s a sweet track that expresses the sincere feelings of the group to each other and their fans. I can’t believe it’s been nine years!
“Supernova” by OWV
You never know what Japanese group OWV will come out with. But it’s always an exciting time whenever they do have a new release. “Supernova” is a charismatic pop-dance track. If you know anything about OWV, it’s a song that definitely fits in with their previous releases. The group likes to offer up a diverse offering between these powerful dance tracks and mellower, pensive pop songs. And “Supernova” actually has a bit of both. If you haven’t checked out OWV, definitely do so!
