Carolyn suggests Sam and Rob suggests Dylan, but Danielle disagrees with both. Rob offers up Ciara and Danielle again says no.

Carolyn says there might not be a murder tonight then if they can’t agree.

Next morning, Britney and Ivar are first to walk into the dining room and she believes he is just furniture at this point.

A Big Brother reference? Lol

Derrick gets the letter, saying he takes it as a compliment and says he’s the most dangerous person to the Traitors.

lol Rob was the only obvious one. He’s been wrong with everything else lol

At the breakfast table, Rob says the Traitors are really trying to frame him. But Tom is really questioning Rob at this point saying the evidence can’t just be a coincidence.

Are they setting up Tom saving Rob because no one believes him and everyone thinks so little of him and his opinion? lol

The Traitors US Season 3 Episode 7 Recap Review

After Alan teases today’s activities and tells the players to partner up, they all separate into their little chat groups. Alan further explains that each pair will stand by a plinth where they will face their partner and hold hands for eight minutes. But Alan says they will be getting some gifts during the ceremony. He first has clear boxes and goggles brought out. The players put their hands inside and hold hands.

Alan calls for the next gift to be brought out and it is giant millipedes. Chrishelle immediately pulls her hand out within 15 seconds of the time start. Dolores can’t believe it.

Rob & Ciara get the Shield from this match-up. But they must continue to hold on for the rest of the eight minutes. Rob tries to calm Ciara down by getting her to think about anything other than the millipedes.

Reminds me of Rachel Reilly doing the same to her partner in season 1!

After the millipedes, Alan has scorpions brought in.

Alan asks Danielle how she’s feeling and she gives him the middle finger.

But the five remaining couples survive the eight minutes. The players bank $22,500. But now it’s a sudden-death tiebreak situation for the four teams.

Teams will have to stick their hands into the box full of more bugs in order to find a ring. The first couple to find the ring in each match-up will be safe from murder.

And it is Sam & Ivar and Danielle & Britney who secure safety.

“Big Brother in the house, that’s how we roll.”

That means Chrishell, Dolores, Gabby, Tom, and Dylan are up for murder tonight.

On the drive back to the castle, Rob starts planting the seeds for Britney as a banishment candidate. Dolores says she can see that possibility. In the other car, Britney mentions the evidence against Rob is still solid. Danielle tells us that she is ready to take a shot at Rob if it is open.

The Traitors US Season 3 Episode 7 Recap Review

At the castle, Tom insists to Ivar, Dylan and Sam that Rob is a Traitor. Rob, meanwhile, talks to Chrishell, Ciara and Dolores again trying to make his case why the Traitors are framing him for Derrick’s murder. Ciara seems most open to voting for Britney tonight.

Rob talks to Carolyn to say there are whispers it’s Britney tonight. Carolyn says that’s such a dumb suspicion, but she’ll go with whatever.

When Britney talks to Dolores and Chrishell, she senses a strange vibe from them since they won’t even make eye contact with her.

Rob and Danielle meet in the dining room and he tells them about others saying Britney’s name. He urges them to stay together as Traitors.

The Traitors US Season 3 Episode 7 Recap Review

The teams head to the Round Table and Alan allows them to begin. Dylan speaks up first and tells everyone about Derrick’s final message to him. Derrick said that if he was murdered, the two Traitors are Rob and Britney.

Since Derrick already laid out the evidence for Rob, Dylan goes on to explain why Britney and brings up how she shook her head at him last night at the Round Table to not vote for Rob.

Britney explains that she saw Dylan struggling with his vote like she was, so she was just motioning to him to go with his gut. She shades Derrick saying that must have been such a slight to his ego. But she reiterates that she is a Faithful. And not even a very good one since she has usually been wrong who the Traitors could be.

Sam speaks up and says the evidence against Rob cannot be ignored. This will be the third night in a row that anyone who has come after Rob was murdered. He asks Rob to answer and Ciara steps in to say he already defended himself last night so it is stupid to have to go over it again.

Tom adds that Bob the Drag Queen’s banishment was Traitor on Traitor violence. But Dolores says she gives Dylan more credit for that even if Rob ended up finishing him off.

The Traitors US Season 3 Episode 7 Recap Review

Rob speaks up to defend himself. He posits that Derrick and Wes agreed the two of them were Faithful so they automatically assumed Rob was a Traitor. That’s why they went after him. Rob says he can be so composed and is able to speak freely because he is telling the truth: He has always been a Faithful.

Rob says he has no incentive to kill Derrick since that would just raise even more suspicion on him. It makes zero sense. Tom tries to interject, but Rob continues. The only people who knew directly that Derrick did not have a Shield were Sam, Dolores, Chrishell and Britney. So of those four potential suspects, he believes Britney is the only one who has the capability of making such a game move as to frame Rob for Derrick’s death.

The Traitors US Season 3 Episode 7 Recap Review

Britney argues that tomorrow, they are going to be laying out the same exact evidence against Rob. Rob says he is actually complimenting her for thinking she is that clever. But despite appreciating that, Britney insists that this is a misfire on Rob’s part.

Come on now, if people don’t vote against Rob, I don’t even know what to think. There’s no other choice, to be honest, at this point.

Alan begins with Tom who votes for Rob. Chrishell votes for Tom because she doesn’t want to vote for either Britney or Rob who she believes are both Faithful.

Britney votes for Rob, not because he went after her tonight, but because of the evidence against him.

The Traitors US Season 3 Episode 7 Recap Review

Ciara votes Britney because she has spent more time with Rob. Dylan votes Gabby because he also doesn’t think it’s either Britney or Rob.

Carolyn votes Rob, saying she doesn’t want to listen to a gamer accusing another gamer.

Sam and Ivar vote Rob and Rob votes Britney.

Rob needs one more vote. And Danielle is next. She votes for Rob, saying she knows Britney is a Faithful

If she voted for Britney that would’ve been hilarious considering the history the show has played up so far.

Rob is officially banished. Dolores votes Tom and Gabby votes Rob as well even though she thinks he’s a Faithful

Rob steps on the Circle of Truth. He says he really enjoyed meeting everyone and playing this game. He’s had a ton of fun, but of course, he has been a Traitor from the very beginning.

Everyone cheers!

The Traitors US Season 3 Episode 7 Recap Review

Rob tells us that he gave it his all. He understands why Carolyn was scared, but he says she had nothing to be afraid of because he legitimately wanted to go to the end with her. As for Danielle, he believes she is a bad Traitor and game player, period.

Danielle celebrates finally killing the godfather.

Funny seeing her celebrate considering she’s played the worst of the four Traitors so far. lol

Before leaving the Round Table, Alan says tonight at midnight, the six players on the chopping block will head into the castle’s church where they will talk down the aisles to potentially be murdered by the Traitors, face to face.

As teams mingle around the castle reveling in banishing a Traitor, Dylan feels bad about losing his closest ally who might have been protecting him all this time. Now he feels vulnerable.

Everyone gives Tom his kudos and he feels good about people finally taking him seriously and respecting him at the Table.

Danielle and Britney dance.

Later in the Turret, Danielle and Carolyn are excited that Rob is finally gone. Danielle tells Carolyn that she has her back. But Carolyn says “not before Britney”. Danielle assures her that she’s got Carolyn and adds “I’m sticking with you because I have to.”

Carolyn laughs in her face. But Carolyn tells us that she is not an idiot, she will just continue to take this game day by day.

At midnight, the condemned players head to the church.

More theatrical presentation with the walk down the aisle to get murdered!

Each give their last words. Dolores was the funniest! Lol

And for the cliffhanger, each one of the players turn to look at potentially the two Traitors approaching them. All of them with absolutely shocked looks on their faces.

Episode Thoughts

Seriously though, if they didn’t banish Rob this time, then the Faithful all deserved to lose. Especially when the only other option was Britney which really is nonsense and is just more hilarious proof that perhaps Derrick is not the master investigator he is made out to be. Lol

It was a great run for Rob though. And it is thanks to him that we’ve had such an incredible string of Round Tables. He’s helped drive some amazing television and that’s a testament to just how good he really is.

Again, I’ve never been a fan of Boston Rob. I watched his first Survivor season, but none of his returns. And of course I’ve watched him on both his Amazing Race seasons. Those two appearances gave me the reason to really dislike him (and Amber). But even so, I definitely recognize his spot as one of the biggest and greatest competitors in reality television history. That’s not an overstatement.

So kudos to him. He delivered exactly what he was cast to deliver. And it has truly helped make season three of The Traitors easily be more fun than the first two so far.

That said, it’s now all up in the air as to how these last few weeks will play out. I still think Carolyn is in the best Traitor position and Danielle is just a messy player that could easily screw up sooner rather than later. But her erratic play could save her too. We don’t know. But I think Carolyn will be able to take the suspicions people already have on her and twist that knife.

This bodes well for Britney though who I am so happy is safe this week. And I think should continue to be safe moving forward. I think it was obvious the players consider her a Faithful. Otherwise you wouldn’t have seen those throwaway votes. No one seriously considered her as a Traitor. (Except, again, the supposedly great investigator Derrick lol)

If Britney somehow ends up being the Big Brother alum that actually goes all the way on The Traitors and breaks the BB curse, I think that would be amazing!

I loved the challenge this episode. It was a great take on what has now become a staple for the show with the creepy crawlies. The theatrical presentation on this show is just very good. Even if the gameplay might suck at times, you can’t deny that the show is visually stunning. Especially for a reality competition program that isn’t The Amazing Race.

Overall, a good episode. Not as explosive as the previous weeks. But really expected as to finally seeing Rob get banished. It was a fitting end after surviving this long.
