New music from CIX, Catch the Young, Casper True, W24, ALL(H)OURS
“Thunder” by CIX
CIX starts a new chapter in their careers, now as a four-member group. And the title track “Thunder” shows they’re picking up right where they left off. The electro-pop track has a catchy rhythm and groovy melody that makes it an easily appealing song and performance from the group. The other tracks on the album Thunder Fever follow suit. “Bad Moves” is also a groovy track while R&B ballads “My Name is Shadow” and “My Everlasting Sun” close out the album. There’s also a new version of last year’s “Lovers or Enemies” with only the four remaining members which is a bit unnecessary, tbh. Overall, a great release from CIX.
“You, Always (2025)” by Catch the Young
Talented rookies Catch the Young release a remake of “You, Always”, a song from 90s band Mono. It’s a refreshing track that retains some nostalgic vibes while still being a bright and contemporary performance. The band has delivered great performances in their debut year. And this is another one to start off their next one!
“Because You Love Me” by Casper True
I haven’t been able to keep up with Casper’s releases. But it’s always great to see him back with fresh music. “Because You Love Me” is a great R&B ballad that suits his voice and his always sultry performance!
“Rooftop” by W24
W24 released single “Rooftop” earlier this month and the talented band rocks out with this energetic and encouraging track. W24 is such a criminally underrated band and a song like “Rooftop” shows that they definitely deserve more attention!
“Graffiti” by ALL(H)OURS
I don’t think I checked out ALL(H)OURS first comeback after their debut. But I think I definitely have to after they just released a pre-release track for their upcoming third mini album. “Graffiti” reminds me of their solid debut which I liked. A catch, energetic pop-dance track. The group delivers a charismatic performance and it definitely has my attention for their new album!
