“Please Stay” by BTOB
BTOB is back a pre-release track “Please Stay”. The ballad is a wonderful track, based on a band sound that expresses the feelings of longing for the other person and whether a spark can rekindle love. The song is written and composed by the members and it’s a great showcase for the multi-talented group. (Especially my ultimate bias Lim Hyunsik of course hehe)
“Boyfriend” by POW
POW is finally back with a new album! And title track “Boyfriend” was a pleasant surprise! Really because it is a remake of Avril Lavigne’s memorable hit “Girlfriend.” The song allows the boys to offer up a youthful, but powerful performance. And it’s a refreshing and bright track. Aside from the great pre-release track “Sunset,” the album also features “I” and “Bae”, two tracks that also help showcase the group’s versatility. So great to finally have some fresh music from this talented group.
“Wavy” by izx!
A pleasant surprise as well to see these two tracks released from project group izx! It features Prince from GHOST9, Marcus from HORI7ON, Min formerly of the underrated WE IN THE ZONE and Ricky of rookie group PICKUS who will go by the names Windz, Max, Yuhan and Wang Wang in izx!, respectively. “Wavy” is a really great, breezy track with positive vibes. B-side “Remember You” is also a solid pop ballad as well. Will be interesting to see what activities the project group will embark on!
“Last Night of Summer” by Jayn Lee
Jayn Lee is back with a new song, “Last Night of Summer”. And like his debut solo album, he delivers the vibes with this mellow track describing a fleeting romance at the end of the summer.
