It’s a Leg of multiple shocking surprises for the teams as they Race through one of the most memorable Legs in TARPHDME history. The first Must Vote U-Turn reveals where teams stand with each other while other teams, literally, take a leap of faith to fight to stay in the Race.

Teams are confused as they all arrive at the Clay Pans in Ilparpa. And they are shocked when they learn this is a CashKarera Leg. But even more so learning that one team will be eliminated at the Mat. The surprises continue immediately when teams open the first clue revealing the first Must Vote U-Turn of the Race.

An unofficial Kapuso alliance emerged as Valeen & Chariz, Betong & Maey, Klea & Katrice and Mike & John all vote for Andres & Atasha in solidarity with Mike & John who had been U-Turned by the siblings last Leg. The other teams, meanwhile, targeted teams they perceived as the strongest with Paolo & Bubbles, Olivia & Chandler and Nina & Calvin each getting two votes, resulting in four teams being U-Turned.

The first Roundabout of the Leg had four teams choosing to do the Morse code task first. And that proved to be the faster choice as the teams who chose to do the U-Turn first immediately struggled with the tasks. The four U-Turned teams fall almost one-hour behind the leading teams, which at this point are Valeen & Chariz and Betong & Maey.

Those trailing teams have a chance to catch up as teams must depart in pairs to Uluru. Several teams are able to make up time at either task. But Mike & John struggle at Bush Tucker Bites while Andres & Atasha struggle with Anangu Art.

Up in the front, Betong & Maey are able to score their second Leg win with Valeen & Chariz in 2nd. Olivia & Chandler just beat Klea & Katrice to the Mat to claim 3rd. Inigo & Sebastian are close behind in 5th.

Shamcey & Lloyd, Nina & Calvin and Paolo & Bubbles are 6th through 8th.

It’s down to Andres & Atasha and Mike & John, the emerging rivals. But Andres & Atasha are able to step on the Mat as Team #9.

That means Mike & John are last and eliminated. HOWEVER! They are given the opportunity to stay in the Race if they forfeit their CashKarera winnings. The funny friends decide they will do just that. So while they will be able to race on the next Leg, they must come in first or they will automatically be eliminated. For real this time!
