Great new music this week from Jeong Inseong, The Wind, NOMAD, Yoon Seobin, ASC2NT!
“First Time Back Then” by Jeong Inseong
So wonderful to have KNK’s Jeong Inseong back with his second solo release. “First Time Back Then” is a perfectly nostalgic and romantic track that has Inseong effortlessly expressing the sweet emotions of a first love. The bright, summer vibe really adds to that nostalgic and humble feelings of the song. And the melody and Inseong’s vocals bring it all together. So good! (And definitely looking forward to fresh KNK music soon too!)
“Hello, My First Love” by The Wind
Also offering up some great nostalgic summer first love vibes is The Wind with “Hello, My First Love”. The breezy track suits the group’s bright and youthful vibe. The rest of their album with the same name features four other solid tracks that are the best showcase for the rookie group’s talents and charm yet!
“Call Me Back” by NOMAD
I liked NOMAD when I first checked them out a few months ago. And they return with their follow-up release “Call Me Back” which is a really wonderful surprise. It gives off a different vibe from their debut. But “Call Me Back” is a bit more my speed. It’s a great song and performance for the rookie group to show off their versatility. And I think it is a very strong follow-up track.
“Rizz” by Yoon Seobin
Certainly a fitting title for this latest track from Yoon Seobin. The talented solo artist sings of a girl’s rizz working on him, but he shows off his own charm and charisma with this track and performance. The groovy track is an easily appealing song that Yoon Seobin is able to elevate into something more with another strong delivery and performance.
“Sweet Devil” by ASC2NT
It’s been awesome to see ASC2NT and both its veteran and rookie K-pop members delivering some great performances so far. “Sweet Devil” is another one and it is a nice contrast to their groovy debut “Love Me Do” and also pre-release track “Your Echo”. This powerful dance track offers the group a great opportunity to show off what they are capable of and they definitely deliver with this charismatic performance.
