Music Monday, September 20, 2021 – ATEEZ, Wonho, Kim Woojin, NOA

Enjoy these tracks from ATEEZ, Wonho, Kim Woojin and NOA.

“Déjà Vu” by ATEEZ

After first listen, “Déjà Vu” isn’t going to be my favorite ATEEZ song. I actually voted for “Eternal Sunshine” and after listening to the song, I stand by my initial vote. It’s just my speed and for ATEEZ, it would’ve been a nice breather after a string of darker concepts. That’s not to say “Déjà Vu” isn’t a good song. It’s another opportunity for the group to exude their powerful charisma. My favorite songs from the album though, aside from “Eternal Sunshine,” are “All About You” and “Not Too Late.”

“Blue,” Wonho

Wonho returns with a brighter concept with the title track “Blue.” A different vibe from his first two seductive and charismatic titles, “Blue” is nonetheless still playfully flirtatious and allows Wonho to show off his fun personality and charm a bit more. My favorite track off the album is “24/7.”

“My Growing Pains” by Kim Woojin

Kim Woojin wraps up promotions for his debut solo album with this music video for the excellent rack “My Growing Pains.” Woojin’s solo album has been an expression of the hardships and growth he’s gone through in the last year and a half. And the music video for “My Growing Pains” is a wonderfully nostalgic depiction of those personal lyrics.

“Don’t Waste My Time” by NOA

NOA has released some great music so far this year and he is back with another great one in “Don’t Waste My Time.” The groovy pop/R&B track is an awesome vibe as he confidently sings the self-assured lyrics about his intentions for a girl he is interested in.
