While Ijirude takes a spa break, Stacey sneaks into his lab to use the computer to confirm the faces of Kaito’s parents match the mysterious couple in the system.
Over at the shop, Mr. Su comes in waving a bug net around and catches Kaito’s head saying it is a beetle. Of course, it is the work of Tojitendo’s Kabutomushi World who turns everyone into beetle hunters and places them in a strange virtual world.
The Zenkaigers arrive and henshin. They first battle Kudakks before Kabutomushi World zaps them so they too become bug catchers. Secchan tries to get them to snap out of it.
Zox arrives and battles Kabutomushi World who tries to zap him too. But Zox is able to use everyone else as a shield which gives Kabutomushi World time to retreat.
Barashitara briefs Bokkowaus on what’s happening with Kabutomushi World and says they need to be able to control the beetle catching illusion in a way that allows them to enslave the people without strict surveillance. Barashitara understands.
Secchan flies out to where the Zenkaigers are swatting at bug illusions, but he has to fly away when they think he’s a beetle.
Stacey is trying to awaken the mysterious figures with potential passwords such as “Yatsude” or “Kaito,” but nothing works. Stacey thought there would be some kind of connection between the computer Goshikidas and Kaito and Grandma Yacchan.
Stacey then tries Kaito’s Zenkaiser roll call and cheer, but still nothing. He leaves, not knowing the couple has opened their eyes.
Back at the shop, Secchan rests in Grandma Yacchan’s lap, exhausted from being chased. He suddenly gets an idea and zooms down into the lab.
While the Goldtsuiker boys are enjoying pancakes, Flint is searching for Kabutomushi World. Zox is unsure of the move, but the little bros suggest they lure Kabutomushi World out with maple syrup.
Flint and Secchan meet to ask each other a favor. The little bros suggest Zox use the Abaranger Gear to summon AbareKiller’s Wing Pentact. With it, he can draw anything into reality.
Zox draws a huge bottle of syrup and splatters it all over a building. That attracts Kabutomushi World to where they are.
Barashitara arrives and he and Zox meet for the first time since the Storming of the Palace. Zox henshins and he battles both the commander and the World with the help of his little bros.
On the other side of town, the Zenkaigers are still in their bug-filled illusions. Kaito is reminded of good memories of bug catching with his parents when he was a kid. He believes that was the last time he went out with his parents.
That memory gets Kaito out of the illusion. He tries to get the others to wake up, but is unable. He hurries over to help Zox, saying his parents helped him snap out of it.
Kaito henshins and takes on Kabutomushi World while Zox focuses on Barashitara.
Flint and Secchan arrive together from the ship with a new Zenkaiju Gear. Kaito locks it in and goes Super Zenkai to become Super Zenkaiser. With the new power, Kaito is able to defeat Kabutomushi World, releasing everyone from the illusion.
Barashitara summons a Kudaitest to turn into Dai Kabutomushi World which transports them all into an embiggened bug catching illusion. The others are already embiggened and they form ZyuraGaon and VrooMagine. Dai Kabutomushi World sprays tree sap on them.
Zox and the siblings arrive in Tsukai-Oh Cutanner. That gives Magine time to use magic soap to wash the sap away. And all together, they defeat Dai Kabutomushi World.
Back at the shop, they celebrate with a delicious dinner from Grandma Yacchan. Secchan explains that Flint was able to make the Zenkaiju Gear using the data Professor Isao left for them.
Flint surprises Secchan by handing Zox his own pirated Zenkaiju Gear.
Kaito wonders how Secchan was clued in to the data. Grandma Yacchan says Mama and Papa Goshikida were probably trying to help him.
DEFINITELY a much better episode than last week. This was a much more fun episode. And all the Stacey intrigue just added to the enjoyment.
First with Stacey, they’re definitely adding more to the potential connection and it’s honestly raising my expectations as to what the connection actually is. Yikes, me having high expectations, I’m sure to be disappointed lol But it’s one of the few things I really am fully enjoying, so I have high hopes for the mystery.
With the computerized/avatar-like Goshikidas potentially being able to contact Secchan, it will be very interesting to see the full story of how they ended up with the Tojitendo. That’s another potentially exciting revelation.
Stacey doing Kaito’s roll call was fun.
The MOTW was good. But it was definitely mainly to focus on getting in that memory with Kaito and his parents. It was one of the many creative ideas this episode.
The other one was the refreshing use of the forest in the mecha battle. Actually having it outdoors instead of in the indoor mini-set was great to see.
The new Battlizer-like power-up is nice. I don’t assume the Kikainoids will be able to use it, but I hope so. I like when they can share power-ups.
Overall, this was a great episode. I definitely enjoyed it, especially after last week.

The mystery of Kaito’s parents continues to intrigue me.
Yeah it’s my favorite part of the season I think. Especially now that it involves Stacey
It’s been few weeks (or month) since I last posted comments on this site, due the fact I was busy with real life and the fact, watching recent episodes of tokusatsu has been somewhat of a chore, due to its quality (…especially Saber… ugh).
Since next episode is going to be crossover special to tie-in with upcoming Sentai/Rider crossover movie, Superhero Senki, so I decided to make comment on regular episode.
In last few episodes, the subplot of Stacey relation with Kaito’s family/parents, has been really building up.
This episode focus on power-up for Zenkaiser, a Super Zenkaiser.
Since this series focuses heavily on mecha, I had a feeling it was going to be big and bulky, but as far as power-up goes… I’m really not into the design.
It’s based on Dragon Caesar (Zyuranger), which belong to 6th ranger (Dragonranger) that has dinosaur design, but something about that design is… off.
It’s hard to explain, but it’s just too bulky and unpleasant to look at.
I don’t know, but that’s how I feel it.
Since Flint, the genius sister of pirates, made duplicate of Zenkaiju Gear, looking forward to see Super TwoKaiser in action; hopefully with better design.
I thought the design was okay. Reminds me of Power Rangers’ bulky Battlizers.
But anyway, Stacey has become the most interesting character followed by Zox.
