Teams scrambled for flights in Busan with five teams getting on the first flight and the other five on a second flight arriving more than two hours later. Though the two hour difference gave the first five teams some comfortable cushion, all teams would end up on the same bus to Murun in the morning.
Teams struggled trying to find the local families with Alex & Raffy, Carmina & Cassy and Janice & Inah getting the most lost. Troy & KC, who arrived 7th, had to wait for the last three teams to arrive in order to find a team to pair up with which ended up being Alex & Raffy. The time lost put the two teams in last place.
At the anklebone game, luck was on the side of Jervi & Luke, Heart & Rey, Benjie & Kobe and Marco & Michele who ere able to break free of the pack. But the tricky Road Block equalized teams once more.
At the Detour, confusion over whether or not it was a Limited Stations Detour (it was not) forced teams including Jervi & Luke and Troy & KC to choose the Ice Detour even though they wanted to do the Fire Detour, which was much quicker.
The second Road Block would end up deciding the Leg. Heart used her extensive knowledge of fashion to help her memorize and identify each traditional costume. Though they hopped on the first charter flight to Ulaanbaatar, they end up getting lost on the way to the Pit Stop. That allowed Benjie & Kobe and Marco & Michele to arrive as Teams #1 and #2, leaving Heart & Rey in 3rd.
Alex & Raffy arrive in Ulaanbaatar in 8th, but they too get lost and allow Carmina & Cassy to take 8th place instead.
It was down to the last two teams once again. But Alex & Raffy manage to arrive at the Pit Stop just minutes before Troy & KC who were last, but not eliminated. The brothers ended up pulling the Automatic Rewind penalty envelope which they will have to complete next Leg.
