The Race started off hot as teams wasted no time getting into the competition. A few teams gambled with their balls, hoping to possibly score a Fast Forward Note especially. Heart & Rey were the first team to land their ball and it was a Flight 1 burnay which they immediately claimed.

Solenn & Erwan and Troy & KC annoyed the other teams by playing aggressively, knocking balls off landed burnays and blocking shots from teams who were on the verge of claiming an early flight or prize. Troy & KC, Solenn & Erwan, Marco & Michele and Benjie & Kobe all forfeited Flight 1 burnays to try and score a prize. And the gamble paid off for Benjie & Kobe who scored a Fast Forward Note after their 42nd round and for Troy & KC who scored a Super Yield (after their 17th round).

Jervi & Luke (after 10 rounds), Vicki & Hayden (after 12 rounds) and Marco & Michele (after 19 rounds) scored Flight 1 burnays. Solenn & Erwan (after 27 rounds), Ruffa & Annabelle (after 24 rounds), Gee & Archie (after 12 rounds) and Troy & KC (after 22 rounds) score Flight 2 tickets.

The last four teams Janice & Inah, Benjie & Kobe, Carmina & Cassy and Alex & Raffy, after more than 30 rounds each, decided to continue trying for the two remaining prizes. That’s when Benjie & Kobe won the Fast Forward Note and Janice & Inah won the Express Pass.

With each flight arriving an hour apart from each other, teams ended up Intersecting with whomever was on the flight with them. Flight 2 teams arrived at the Intersection before any of the Flight 1 teams got the thumbs up. While Flight 3 teams also arrived before any of the Flight 2 teams got the thumbs up.

At the Detour, all but two teams chose the tea harvesting side. Jervi & Luke and Solenn & Erwan, despite arriving at the tea plantation in 3rd and 5th, respectively, completed the Easy Find side of the Detour in 8th and last overall, respectively.

At the palanquin task, all teams were able to catch up to each other before anyone was able to find the correct deities. Carmina & Cassy and Janice & Inah formed an alliance and worked together to complete the task.

Teams were again bunched up at the Double Road Block and exhaustion and frustration began to affect teams.

Ruffa & Annabelle actually finish the Double Road Block in 9th, but get lost on their way to the Mat and they eventually finish the Leg in 11th.

Solenn & Erwan, who arrived in 8th at the Double Road Block, struggle with the task and end up in last and surprisingly eliminated.
