Music Monday (Extra), September 8, 2020 – Summer Vibes with Haru (Son Seulgi), Jenyer, ONF and D1CE

It’s a major heatwave here in California so what perfect time to enjoy some cooler summer vibes with some great music released last month!

“All in My Dream,” Haru (Son Seulgi)

Son Seulgi, former member of OFFROAD and B.Crown, recently completed his mandatory military service and started his own YouTube channel. Going by the name Haru as a solo artist, he released “All in My Dream” last week.

A great song evoking the hopeful, longing emotions of the title while enjoying the sunny atmosphere.

Also check out the ballad “Good bye” which he released in 2018 before his enlistment:

“Bad,” Jenyer (feat. KIMMUSEUM)

It is great to see former 4minute member Jenyer (Jiyoon) back with new music. And “Bad” is a great, impactful comeback. Jenyer’s vocals power the confident dance track about the end of a relationship. And it also features the great vocals of indie singer-songwriter KIMMUSEUM.

“Sukhumvit Swimming,” ONF

ONF leans into their quirky sides a bit more while still keeping their signature dreamy visuals (though in a less dramatic fashion from their other title tracks) for this relaxing vibe of a song. The catchy chorus definitely hooks you and reels you in.

“One Summer,” D1CE

It definitely still feels like summer around here and D1CE’s breezy track tells of a fleeting summer romance. A perfect vibe for those warm (or very, very hot!) summer evenings.
