I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while. But I’ve finally found time to be able to actually do it!
The Amazing Race 32 is still weeks (months?!) away. So in the meantime, I will be rewatching the gold standard of The Amazing Race US. And that is of course Season 3.
I’ve watched TAR3 over and over again and it never gets old. Every moment (which I’ve probably memorized) is still hilarious, fun and exciting with each watch. This time, I’ve decided to actually recap the season as if it were airing. I only started recapping The Amazing Race around Season 5. And not seriously until a few seasons later.
So this will be the first time I’ll be going through Season 3 and nitpicking and reminiscing about the best Amazing Race season ever! It’ll be hard since I’m already familiar with and love so much about the season. But we’ll see how it goes!
Elsewhere, I’ve been meaning to write up a sort of defense for Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. It’s a season I very much enjoy and really is one of my favorites. That’s in spite of it having once been considered the worst Power Rangers season. (Though the Saban Brands Era seasons have easily surpassed it even in the eyes of the strongest OO haters.)
Instead of just writing up a review of some sort, I decided to actually go through the entire season and recap each episode. That may help me formulate my thoughts a little better to explain just what I like and enjoy about this oft-derided season.
So, my plan is to post The Amazing Race 3 recaps every Friday. And I think one or two episodes of Power Rangers Operation Overdrive every Wednesday or Thursday.
Should be an interesting and fun journey!
