The Race continues to heat up as the two alliances go head-to-head. And one horrible mistake could doom a team’s chances.
All teams were on the same train from Interlaken to Geneva via Bern. During the wait in Bern, Martina & Phil overhear Megan & Mikael and Danica & Ciara discussing if their alliance was still on and their U-Turn plan a go. Martina & Phil relayed the information to the others and Rachel and Mlee did not take too kindly to hearing it. The Four Pack decided on U-Turning Megan & Mikael and Danica & Ciara the next chance they get.
Little did they know, Megan & Mikael and Danica & Ciara overhear them. And as they walk by, they mumble snarky remarks which set off both Rachel and Mlee. They confront Megan & Mikael and Danica & Ciara over the events in the last Leg and get in a heated argument before boarding the train.
Upon arrival in Geneva, the Four Pack hop on a bus to the Palace of Nations while Megan & Mikael and Danica & Ciara end up walking 30 minutes.
That gives the Four Pack a 10-15 minute lead and they work together to complete the task. That allows them to take the first train to Lyon and further pushing Megan & Mikael and Danica & Ciara behind at least 40 minutes.
Upon reading the Detour, the Four Pack determine the best strategy is to work together on the Traboule task where they would each take different traboules and come together with what they find.
Megan & Mikael and Danica & Ciara decide to do the silk side of the Detour, which turns out to be faster. They make up all the time they fell behind and reach the All U-Turn first. They work together to start the Traboule Detour just as the Four Pack finish. The pair don’t let on that there is an All U-Turn, making the Four Pack believe they are far behind.
All teams, however, end up arriving at Place Bellecour within 5 minutes of each other, much to the shock of the Four Pack.
Megan & Mikael and Danica & Ciara finish first and share answers at Institut Lumiere, moving them into the lead, for now.
The Four Pack continue helping each other and they are able to catch up to the other two teams at the bouchon who still end up the first two teams to complete the Road Block.
Jak & Sanya are able to pull ahead at the paddle board and then move into first as Sanya finds all six officers. However, they walk to the wrong location and have to backtrack.
Mikael is next to finish and he tells Ciara the six clues so they can work together to find the next Route Marker. Ciara, however, had not yet interacted with all six officers before leaving with Danica.
Both teams head to the Pit Stop where Megan & Mikael check-in as Team #1. However, Danica & Ciara are informed that they did not complete the Road Block and must go back and do so. Otherwise, it will be considered quitting the task and they will be issued a four-hour penalty.
Danica & Ciara decide to return to the museum to finish the Road Block.
When Jak & Sanya arrive back at the museum, Sanya teams up with Martina, Elissa and Mlee to compare notes on what they have. Sanya tells them about the wrong location and together, they are able to find out the clue points to the Orange Cube.
As they are about leave, they see Danica & Ciara arriving and are confused. But they see they might have a chance to all survive. The Four Park hurry to the Orange Cube, but as they had agreed early on, they would not wait for each other.
Jak & Sanya reach the Orange Cube first and maintain their position to the Pit Stop where they finish as Team #2.
Ciara finally meets all six officers and she and Danica hop back into a taxi to the Pit Stop. Martina & Phil, running to the Pit Stop are shocked to see the cousins taking a taxi to the Mat.
Martina & Phil step on the Mat just two minutes after Danica & Ciara. The siblings point out that they saw the cousins take a taxi when the clue clearly stated they must make their way on foot. But it is explained that they were able to do so after having to return to the Road Block location.
That left Rachel & Elissa and Mlee & Quoc Anh fighting for last. And a bad taxi and a stoplight left Mlee & Quoc Anh as the last team and eliminated.
