As Kureon and Gachireus set their sights on a hot princely surgeon, Canalo meets with a marriage advisor to figure out why he can’t find a wife.
Over at Chez Tatsui, Oto explains that she named the strange egg Pii-tan. Tyramigo bites Melto’s butt before he tries to eat the egg.
Pii-tan wakes up and is able to pop back into Oto’s arms, surprising everyone when it talks. Seto possesses Papa Naohisa’s body to explain that when he sealed the land Kishiryu in the temples, one of them escaped into the sky. Pii-tan says it didn’t want to get sealed away.
Pii-tan explains that when it flew into space, it got sealed into this round form, losing its ability to fly. That’s when it fell to Earth and into the ocean where Oto found it.
Before Pii-tan can say who sealed it away, Towa calls about a Minosaur.
Towa, Bamba and Canalo are already taking on the Minosaur who is very powerful. Koh, Melto and Asuna arrive to help, but they too are overwhelmed.
Kureon explains that this is a high-spec Minosaur. Canalo remembers the marriage advisor from earlier saying people are looking for high-spec spouses with height, high education and high salary.
Asuna says you can’t get married with just high specs. The Minosaur reacts negatively to it and lets out an attack that suddenly forces Asuna to dehenshin and seals her eyelids shut.
The Minosaur runs off. Towa and Bamba chase after it. But before Koh can also follow, Melto says they need to take care of Asuna first.
Towa and Bamba run into Gaisorg who immediately attacks them. They battle.
Back home, Koh uses KagayakiSoul to open Asuna’s eyes again. They wonder why the attack only affected Asuna. Koh remembers the Minosaur mumbled “Surgery Prince” and Ui sees there is high spec guy trending on social media who is a so-called “prince of surgery.” He has been looking to get married.
They wonder how such a perfect, high-spec hottie could birth a Minosaur. Canalo says it is very possible since he can relate.
Oto laughs at her brother since how could be possibly relate to a high-spec guy.
But Canalo says the marriage advisor talked about how many high-spec people can’t get married since they usually are self-absorbed and don’t respect or appreciate their partner.
Canalo thinks the Minosaur was born out of the high-spec hottie’s inability to find a wife despite being perfect in every way.
Towa and Bamba arrive and decide to drop the bombshell that Gaisorg is Nada and that he’s been in contact with the Druidons.
Canalo realizes that’s why Nada told him to quit being a Ryusoulger. But Koh still believes in Nada and thinks there must be a good reason he’s doing this.
Bamba says to trust him when he says not to believe Nada since he knows him.
On the other side of town, Gachireus uses the marriage advisor to drive the self-absorbed high-spec prince to despair, fueling the Minosaur.
Meanwhile in the forest, Nada is trying to swat Gaisorg away from himself. He acknowledges that he doesn’t have much time.
Towa pops out from behind the tree to confront Nada about why he appeared before them. Nada says he was just curious about the guy Master Red acknowledged and chose to become RyusoulRed.
Towa points his blade at Nada and asks if he’s here to take Koh’s position. Nada says not at the moment. But he does have something interesting to tell him.
The young Master Black and Master Green had defended Earth from the Druidons that had returned. It was understood that Master Green died in that battle. But in reality, Master Green survived.
Nada says he knows this since once you don Gaisorg’s armor, you are able to see the memories of those who have worn the armor before. And he was able to see Master Green’s memories from when he wore Gaisorg’s armor to fight the Druidons.
But when you wear the Gaisorg armor for too long, it will seek a weak spot in your heart and take over your mind and body. Once the Druidons were driven back, Gaisorg took over Master Green’s mind and destroyed their village.
Unable to control his urges, he fled to space and wandered around until he died.
Nada says that Gaisorg continues to wander about, searching for the strongest. As Nada was unable to become a Ryusoulger, he wanted a power that would help prove himself to everyone. So he too searched the universe until he found Gaisorg’s armor.
Towa says Bamba used to think about only getting stronger. But after meeting Koh and the others, he began to think about kindness instead of strength. He started to fight to protect his friends. Nada laughs at the idea that Bamba has friends. But Towa says it’s because of Koh. Koh kept believing in Bamba.
Towa tells Nada that despite everyone warning Koh about him, Koh still believed in and trusts Nada. Because they are friends.
Koh, Melto and Asuna are again struggling against the even more powerful Minosaur. It continues sealing women’s eyes shut. Towa arrives to help while Bamba and Canalo go to save the high-spec prince.
Bamba henshins to take on the Drunns. Meanwhile, the high-spec hottie continues to insist it is everyone else’s problem that they can’t see how amazing he is.
Canalo slaps the high-spec prince and says he understands how he feels since being unpopular is hard. But you should get to know your potential partner instead of just being so self-obsessed.
Canalo admits he was the same as him, but now understands that you have to respect, appreciate and accept each other.
Asuna uses TsuyoSoul and says guys who aren’t kind will never be popular. She takes on the Minosaur herself with some help from Canalo helping the high-spec hottie regain his plus feelings.
The six Ryusoulgers reunite. Canalo tells Koh that the Minosaur’s weak spot is inside, internal blows. Koh uses DosshinSoul and does his punches. But the Minosaur’s blade is still powerful.
Nadasorg arrives. Koh asks if he can help them. Nada says he has no enemies or allies. The armor only seeks strong opponents.
Nada charges at the Minosaur and is able destroy its blade with an Ancient Break Edge. Koh delivers a Dino Sonic Blow to finish the Minosaur off for good.
Nada sheds off the Gaisorg armor. Koh happily runs over to him and says he’s always believed in him.
Nada says he is Gaisorg. But Koh says that doesn’t matter. Nada is Nada. Towa smiles at Nada.
Nada says Koh really is the man Master Red acknowledged. He can’t possibly compete with him.
But Nada seems to hesitate. Towa notices.
Koh cheerily says they should all work together from now on. He turns his back to Nada to face the others.
Towa remembers Nada saying how the armor can eventually take over your mind. He quickly warns Koh to get away from Nada.
But it is too late. Nada slashes Koh across his back.
Koh collapses to the ground.
“I really hate that part of you.”
It was a lot of exposition, but it was good finally getting Gaisorg’s backstory straight. Looking back at Gaisorg’s appearances in-series plus Nada’s development out of the armor, it all makes sense. And it came together well in this episode.
Since we already did the “OMGKOH’SDEAD” cliffhanger before, the final scene in this episode was more to highlight Nada. Perhaps pointing out that even without Gaisorg taking over his mind, Nada has these kinds of dark thoughts on his own.
Nada has been established as a competitive person. Someone who seems jealous and envious of other people’s success/power. He might also have a hunger for power as well. It will be very interesting to see how they redeem him. Will they go through a full redemption story? Or will they really just pass it off as “Gaisorg made me do it.” We’ll see!
Elsewhere, Canalo’s marriage obsession has been a very interesting thing. But with this episode, I hope it means that he now understands you can’t just randomly pick someone to marry. The way he slapped the high-spec prince seemed to imply that he now knows you gotta get to know someone first. Respect and understand them. Basically, date someone for a while before getting married at least? lol
So I hope we see less of him just going up to random women hoping to make offspring with them.
I thought Oto laughing at Canalo comparing himself to the high-spec hottie was a fun, hilarious moment though.
Nice use of the drones this episode. I think they’ve used the drones a few times this season, but certainly not as much as LuPat did. Ryusoulger has had some great fight choreography and directing. And this episode was no different.
Overall, an insightful and enjoyable episode.
