Koh, Melto and Asuna are battling a Minosaur, but it somehow cancels their morph. They head back home and tell Towa and Bamba what’s happened.
Ui is begging her father to help film her new video. That gives Melto a clue based on what the Minosaur was mumbling earlier. He finds there is a popular wishing stone in town.
Already here is Canalo helping Kozue, the guardian of the stone at the temple, close the area to visitors. Kozue says the stone has been suffering by all the wishes being asked of it.
The Ryusoulgers arrive just as the stone’s minus feelings zooms out to the Minosaur. Bamba prepares to strike at the stone to destroy it, but Canalo stops him saying he will protect the stone.
Koh gets the two of them to calm down. But Canalo letting his guard down allows Bamba to quickly slice the stone in half. Everyone is shocked.
Bamba says there is nothing more important than defeating the Minosaur. Canalo morphs and attacks Bamba. Koh again steps in between them. But the Minosaur is rampaging downtown. The Ryusoulgers hurry off. Koh apologizes to Canalo before he joins them.
The Ryusoulgers are surprised to find the Minosaur is perfectly fine. But are even more shocked when they are forced to demorph and find there are TWO identical Minosaurs!
Melto realizes stones don’t die when they are split in half. They just multiply.
Back home while they help Ui with her video, Papa Naohisa asks what happens to the Minosaur if the birther doesn’t (or can’t) die. Bamba says it’ll just keep growing forever.
Melto, Asuna, Towa and Bamba hurry out.
Koh is at the temple trying to get the stone back together, but it doesn’t work. Canalo approaches. Koh apologizes and says since it was his comrade who split the stone, he feels responsible. Koh is also sorry that another one of his comrades, Canalo, could not protect what he wanted.
Koh tells Canalo that he wants him to fight with them, especially with his power. Canalo hesitates, but he sees Kozue very emotional about the pain the stone is feeling.
Canalo decides to work with the others, but only for Kozue.
Melto, Asuna, Towa and Bamba are taking on the Minosaurs, but they are again forced to demorph. Koh and Canalo arrive and are also forced to demorph.
The Minosaurs grow some more and Kureon spills that the Minosaurs grow because of people’s wishes, hopes and dreams. The Ryusoulgers realize that as long as they wish to defeat the Minosaurs, they won’t be able to morph.
Waizuru tells Kureon to oversee the Minosaurs continued growth while he takes care of something himself.
The Ryusoulgers hurry after Kureon, but Asuna notices Bamba hesitate and stay back.
Koh and Canalo find Kureon and take on Drunns. They commend each other on their skills.
Towa and Melto find other Drunns attacking people as well.
Bamba and Asuna head to the temple and stop Waizuru just before he could split the stone into more pieces, thus multiplying the Minosaurs.
The two Minosaurs continue to embiggen. But the Ryusoulgers finally realize what they have to do. It’s not about “wishing” to defeat the Minosaurs. Defeating the Minosaurs is their mission and their strong will to fulfill their responsibility.
The Ryusoulgers are all able to successfully morph.
Koh and Canalo hop into KishiryuOh DimeVolcano and Kishiryu Neptune to take on the Minosaurs. Melto and Towa finish off the Drunns and Asuna and Bamba drive Waizuru away.
Suddenly, the two Minosaurs combine back into one. Koh tells Canalo they should combine. Canalo agrees.
Their RyuSouls suddenly begin to glow and they know they’ve made the right decision. They initiate the gattai and combine to form Gigant KishiryuOh. Together they are able to defeat the Minosaur with a Gigant Double Bite.
The Ryusoulgers head back to the temple. Kozue is grateful to Bamba for protecting the wishing stone. But Bamba tries to pass it off as just preventing the Minosaur from multiplying.
Anyway, the wishing stone can take turns taking wishes since there’s two of them now. Canalo asks Kozue out to dinner. She says sure and asks if her husband can come.
Canalo can’t believe he has been flirting with a married woman all this time.
An interesting episode.
Since it was mainly surrounding the debut of Gigant KishiryuOh, having Canalo and Bamba the ones with conflict didn’t really make too much sense though. It’s Koh and Canalo who have to form the mecha.
Then again, we kinda already went through the “Canalo doesn’t want to join the team” plot already, so having to do that again to introduce Gigant KishiryuOh wouldn’t make sense either.
No matter, I guess. The episode plot regarding the stone birthing the Minosaur and the idea of splitting a rock not “killing” it was pretty creative actually. This is only the second time we have a non-“living” thing birthing a Minosaur and it was definitely a creative and fresh way to do the MOTW.
Canalo being interested in a married woman was a funny joke to end the episode with I guess. Maybe it will get him to stop being so focused on finding a wife. lol
But my favorite part of the episode had to be the great unmorphed fight scenes. I enjoyed the different pairings and so having them in unmorphed fights made it even more awesome and fun. Always great to see the actors in action.
The Ryusoulgers also reaffirmed their “mission” and responsibility to defeat the Druidons. But we still need some backstory on the Ryusoul Tribe.
Overall, an okay episode with a few great moments.

I really like this episode. I’m amazed how Ryusoulgers can fight for a while without transform. I hope Canalo finally can find the bride. Or maybe, the future wife can find Canalo? Who knows. He should take a break! And first we saw Koh VS Towa fight, now Canalo VS Bamba. What kind of surprises are waiting for us? 🙂
Maybe on the finale Canalo will find a bride
