Papa Naohisa is describing a logical explanation to Melt and Asuna about why the temples were built where they were. Tyramigo comes in from watching TV with Koh and can now speak perfect Japanese.
Meanwhile, Koh and Ui are at the river in the middle of the city. Ui stops Koh from jumping in to swim to the ocean and go around the world. Koh says in his more than 200 years of existence, he never left the forest.
Ui is shocked to learn he is 209 years old. She offers him earplugs so he won’t get water in his ears. But before he can jump in, he hears a mysterious woman singing.
Over in a forest, the Bros are sparring. Towa tries to get Bamba to agree to work with the others. But Bamba says people will betray you, so it’s best not to be so trusting.
Just then, a purple-wearing young woman is being chased by Drunns, so Towa and Bamba morph and save her. She wields her sword at them thinking they are also Druidons, even though they just saved her.
On the other side of town, Koh and Ui find a Minosaur rampaging at an amusement park. Ui sees one-hit wonder Ippei Shomomura has been performing and wonders if the Minosaur was born out of him.
The Minosaur’s sonic waves cause everyone in the area to collapse. Kureon leads the Drunns to capture all the unconscious people, separating the children from the adults.
Turns out Koh used the earplugs Ui gave him earlier and is unaffected by the sonic waves. He fights off the Drunns and checks on Ui and the others, including a purple-wearing young woman.
Koh hurries out to find the Minosaur. But he instead meets new Druidon General Waizuru who showily introduces himself. Koh morphs and they battle. Waizuru says the Ryusoulgers are bullies who attack the weak.
Just then, the previously unconscious children appear and they protect Waizuru. A few of the kids are able to kick Koh back, leaving him open for Waizuru to shoot at, forcing him to demorph.
Koh calls Waizuru a “coward”, but he takes it as a compliment. Koh thinks Waizuru is crazy and runs off.
Meanwhile, Towa and Bamba have brought the woman, Cardena, who calls herself the Princess of Cepeus, home. She orders Papa Naohisa to give her a massage.
Melt approaches her, seemingly skeptical. But he plays along and asks what she’s doing here. She explains that Waizuru has kidnapped people from all over the galaxy to enslave them. And she and her sister Fita were also taken by him. They were able to escape, but her sister Fita ended up dropping onto Earth. That’s why Cardena is here to look for her.
Cardena commands the Ryusoulgers search for her sister. Towa says he will gladly help her since it must be lonely without her family. Bamba asks how important Fita is to Cardena. Cardena says she’d die for her and then suddenly breaks into song.
Koh arrives and says that’s the song he heard earlier at the amusement park. He and others head over where they are met by Kureon and Drunns.
Koh, Melt, Asuna and Towa morph. But Bamba goes off running. Towa follows.
Koh, Melt and Asuna take care of the Drunns. Suddenly, the enslaved kids appear and battle them. Meanwhile, the Minosaur has just murdered thousands of people in a building and Kureon is ordering it to kill the Ryusoulgers and kids too.
Cardena appears and starts singing which seems to release the children from their mind control. She tells them to go to safety. Melt says kids like music so she was able to draw them to her and break them free.
Koh, Melt and Asuna hop into KishiryuOh Three Knights to take on the Minosaur.
Meanwhile, Bamba has morphed and is taking on Drunns before he and Towa find the unconscious adults. Towa wakes Ui up and tells her to get everyone else to safety.
Melt tells Koh to use Fortress Mode, but the Minosaur is still very powerful. Towa and Bamba arrive. Bamba says they are not here to save them, but to save the sisters. Towa tells his brother to be a little more honest.
The five Ryusoulgers gattai into KishiryuOh Five Knights. They use a Soul to give them the upper hand. But the Minosaur stands in front of a Ferris Wheel so they can’t directly attack it or the children will be killed.
The Minosaur flies away.
Later, Cardena and Fita are reunited.
Towa tells Bamba that it’s great that the five of them are now reunited too.
Cardena tells Fita that the Ryusoulgers can help them defeat the Druidon with the five Kishiryu.
Melt thinks it’s suspicious that Cardena would know about the Kishiryu considering they never mentioned it before. Asuna thinks he’s just overthinking it.
Another interesting episode, though maybe not in the way I would prefer it to be interesting. Lol
The episode started off with all our main characters in pairs/groups doing different, unrelated stuff. It was very refreshing. First the little lesson at home with Papa Naohisa, Melt and Asuna plus talkingTyramigo then Koh and Ui’s scene at the overpass talking about his age and swimming and finally Towa continuing to try and soften Bamba.
Unfortunately, the rest of the episode dealt with something completely different and unrelated to all of that and instead featured singing sisters who are very suspicious.
So random. I don’t even know! Lol
But I guess they are being used to introduce our new Druidon general. Waizuru/Wizeru is definitely different from Tankjo, so it’ll be interesting to see how the dynamic will be different. It will still take some getting used to having no main villain and it will need some very big creativity on the show’s part too.
I very much enjoyed those kids though. They seemed like they were all actual young martial artists and they were awesome.
Tyramigo being able to speak is also very random. But I don’t hate it. Lol If it gives him some character, then that can be a good thing.
Fortress Mode was actually pretty cool. I don’t normally have strong opinions on the toys. But the way KishiryuOh can have different configurations and the Lego-style of the pieces definitely can lead to lots of creative designs and ideas.
But I do have an issue with them whipping out random Souls all the time whenever they need it. It will get very annoying and unbelievable fast. They can just solve any problem with the random Souls?
Anyway, overall, this was a strange, random episode that was still fine to watch and mostly enjoyable. But the show definitely needs a much more defined hook and story foundation. Right now, it’s almost like a slice of life story. Which can be alright. But I doubt we’d ever get a slice of life toku show on either Sentai or Kamen Rider, you know?
