Shouichi is taking on the Another Agitos. But Ora points her blaster at Tsukuyomi’s head to get Shouichi to stop. Sougo, Geiz and Woz arrive, as does Heure who takes an Another Agito Watch and uses it to suck up all of Shouichi’s Agito power and make a Ride Watch instead.
Another Agito is about to attack a vulnerable Shouichi, but Tsukuyomi suddenly and unwittingly stops time again.
When time unfreezes, Heure takes the Agito Watch and inserts it into Another Agito who becomes full Agito. nuAgito runs off and Heure follows.
Tsukuyomi stops Schwartz and wants to know what he knows about her. But he just leaves.
Back at the shop, Uncle Junichiro anxiously awaits Shouichi’s comments on his cooking. And to his delight, Shouichi thinks it’s delicious.
Anyway, Tsukuyomi apologizes and says it is her fault the Agito Watch was taken. Sougo says it’s alright.
He and Geiz will get it back. But Sougo and Geiz first asks what Tsukuyomi wanted to ask Schwartz. She doesn’t answer and runs out. She feels like a hypocrite for having criticized Sougo for manipulating time when she can do it as well.
The boys head to the playground to discuss Tsukuyomi’s power. Woz points out that she doesn’t seem to understand her power either and that it might be related to her missing memories.
Shouichi can relate. He asks if they’re worried about her. Sougo says she’s their friend and comrade who has fought alongside them all this time. Shouichi says all they should do is to focus on their future together instead of the past.
Just then, Takahiro calls Shouichi and is relieved he has answered meaning he isn’t the Agito rampaging downtown.
Shouichi says he’ll go find Tsukuyomi while Sougo and Geiz go take care of Agito.
Sougo and Geiz henshin and take on the Another Agitos. But they are multiplying like zombies.
Meanwhile, Woz meets with Schwartz to ask if he is turning Tsukuyomi into a TimeJacker. Woz reveals Schwartz is the only one who can grant the power of time control to other people. So how could Tsukuyomi have that power?
Schwartz says the only explanation is that Tsukuyomi is “the same as me.”
Woz cannot believe it.
Shouichi finds Tsukuyomi and invites her to his restaurant where he makes a special dish for her. He corrects her when she calls him Tsugami-san and says his real name is Sawaki Tetsuya.
He explains that he once lost his memory as well and soon realized he had this great power. But he continued to tend his garden and cook. Whether he has his memories or powers or not, he’s still the same person. He asks if that’s how she’s been too.
Tsukuyomi is unsure how to answer, but Shouichi just encourages her to eat first. She smiles after taking a bite and says it’s delicious. He tells her she should show her friends that smile more too. He says they like her just as she is now.
Later, Tsukuyomi finds Sougo and Geiz who have just finished off the latest round of Agitos. They dehenshin and she runs up to them to apologize again.
But Sougo stops her and says she’s also fighting to make the world a better place which is why she came back to this time in the first place. He says he would like to do that too as he becomes a kind demon king. And he’ll be able to with Geiz, Tsukuyomi and Woz there with him.
Tsukuyomi says she really does want to make the world a better place, regardless of whatever her past is. Because this is who she is now. Sougo welcomes her back and they all smile.
Woz arrives and says Sougo shouldn’t fight Agito since it is just a trap by Heure in which Another Agitos will just continue to multiply so much they will be unbeatable. That is, according to Schwartz at least. Tsukuyomi and Geiz question why Schwartz would reveal that. But Sougo says that’s fine since they have no other choice anyway.
Sougo, Geiz and Woz henshin in the middle of a sea of Agitos. Geiz challenges Woz to see who can defeat more Agitos the fastest.
Shouichi arrives in a G3 suit to help and tells Sougo to focus on Agito. But Shouichi gets overwhelmed by a group of Agitos. Tsukuyomi arrives and stops time, though only for the Agitos. Geiz and Woz jump in to save Shouichi.
Sougo is able to knock the Agito Watch out of Another Agito and tosses it to Shouichi who uses it to henshin to the real Agito.
Sougo locks in the Trinity Watch and he, Geiz and Woz combine. Shouichi sees them and tells Tsukuyomi that her friends are pretty funny. She says they’re always that way.
Shouichi decides to go Trinity as well. Woz feels the urge to make a proclamation despite everyone being embarrassed but it.
Together, the two Trinities take care of all the Another Agitos.
Sougo/Trinity look over at Tsukuyomi who mouths “Tadaima” to them and smiles
Shouichi gives Sougo the Agito Watch and hopes he becomes a good king. Before he leaves, Tsukuyomi tells him that whatever is in her past, she will accept it. He says when she does, he’ll have a new dish waiting for her.
Woz says the four of them are together again, but a new secret has popped up. Though he will keep that a secret from everyone for now.
We’re definitely getting into the thick of this next arc as we slowly learn about Tsukuyomi’s past and true identity. So far, we have been told that she and Schwartz could be the same. What that means, we don’t know yet other than maybe they could be top-tier TimeJackers or whatever strange being they could be.
What’s interesting is Schwartz and Woz both immediately know what or who she could possibly be. But only after she exhibited the freezing power. Like, is she unrecognizable without the power? Did she look very different before? It will be interesting to see how they explain that. And also the fact that Tsukuyomi could also just look in her tablet or even travel to the past to find out where she came from. Hmm…
We also learned that the original Rider can use the Ride Watch themselves as well. If only the schedules and the budget worked out, we could see all the Heisei Riders using the Watches all together in one big extravaganza wouldn’t we? hehe
But it really was very refreshing that there was no time travel involved in this tribute to Agito. These present-day visits with the original characters and cast have been great and definitely a nice change from the format that developed with the other legend Riders earlier.
Apparently they also played Agito’s theme during that final battle. That’s very fun and I can’t believe I didn’t think to want it for all the other episodes as well. Gokaiger (and Power Rangers Operation Overdrive) really did a great job popping in the original theme songs for the returning heroes. It’s definitely very fun and gets you pumped up and nostalgic.
Overall, a nice episode. Good tribute, but definitely posing more questions for the future.
