Reactions:

Two-time reality host nominee Phil Keoghan of seven-time Emmy winner “The Amazing Race” went two-for-two in locale on Emmy noms morning. “It’s the second year I’ve been in my garage [when I got the call],” he reminisced. “Last year, I was in my underwear and this year, I was dressed!” Keoghan, who was catching a flight from LAX to France to ride along the Tour de France route with his family, discussed the advantage his reality competition series had over others. “We never repeat ourselves. We never know how things are going to unfold,” the host said. “We just shot one of our most exciting seasons, definitely the toughest over the 13 seasons we’ve been doing this.” When the plane touches town in French territory, Keoghan plans to celebrate by “popping” some “bubbly liquid.”
