First of all, the episode was good, but a step down from last week’s excitement. Still good though. The Mercedes® test track has to be one of the best tasks on TAR ever. That was awesome, I’d love to do that. The ROAD BLOCK brought about bad memories of TAR6’s infamous haybales, thought its effect wasn’t as profound as Lena & Kristy’s Philimination.
The DETOUR was definitely one of the funnest ever also. Either one would’ve been fun to do. Breaking bottles over your partner’s head? Learning that German dance? Good times 🙂
Eric & Jeremy are showing that they are actually more than just horny guys. They’ve really been running a good RACE so far, not perfect, but good nonetheless. They flirty love interests though are the complete opposite. Dani & Danielle haven’t shown any redeeming qualities of being a good Racer at all during the RACE. They tag along with Eric & Jeremy, lose their RACE packs which holds their PASSPORTS!! and then they blindly follow Wanda & Desiree whom I felt really sorry for.
I wanted them to do well. They could’ve been a strong team, but they really broke down in this super/double leg. I would’ve definitely preferred them than the “double Ds.”
Fran & Barry are continuing their slow improvement. 4th place this week is great considering how bad they’ve been Racing and how much bad luck they’ve been receiving. MoJo… Monica & Joseph are shaping up to be one of my favorites this season. They are nothing like the bickering couple I thought they would be from watching their pre-RACE interviews. David & Lori are another cute couple as well. I think they could go far.
Ray & Yolanda just seem to be there again, nothing real significant for another week. BJ & Tyler got even more annoying than usual this episode. Seriously, they’re going a little overboard with their quirkiness. And by the way, they DID NOT have the Gnome with them at the MAT. I thought that was part of the clue… they needed to bring him along safely to the PIT STOP. Oh well…
Lake & Michelle have calmed down a bit, and as much as I want to be Jonathan & Victoria 2.0, they won’t be. I don’t really like them, but they seem harmless most of the time.
Phil is getting more screen time this season.. lol… more of his witty comments to the local greeter, more eyebrow, more inquisitive looks… lol, Phil is the best.
Overall another good episode, not as good as last week, but still good as TAR is always outside of season 7.
And one last note… CBS! Release season 3 on DVD next!! or even 5 or 2 or 6 or rather 8: FE!!! I think the TAR7 DVD just killed all hope… darn Rombuh…

I totally agree with you…Phil is the best!! Although I really like BJ and Tyler…and I think the clue was that you have to bring the gnome to the mat with you to get the Travelocity prize if you’re the first ones. The Detour was the best! And I too will miss Wanda and Desiree. Double D’s are soooooooooooo stupid…but David and Lori, and Frna an Barry are my favorites. I’m so glad you have site about the Amazing Race!
