EPS 08-11: THE FAMILY CHRISTMAS CARD
Not that happy about the Hours of Operation in this ep… kinda takes the excitement and adrenaline from finding out it was a double leg… they might as well have had a non-elimination since they had a mini-pit stop at the ranch anyway… and the Weavers… once again… “Woe is me” … Umm, keeping yourself locked in your camper and and not making any attempt at being cordial with the other teams, and you still wonder why they don’t seem to be friendly to you back?
I thought those were good DETOURS… the teepee makes up for a missing TAR5 task where the final 3 teams had to build a teepee in Vancouver, but was never shown on TV… I want to ride in a wagon, kinda like riding a calesa… lol… The ROAD BLOCK wasn’t too exciting, but damn, those golf carts are nicer than most cars… A Buick Lucerne golf cart, looks like something you’d see on The Apprentice…
Again, Utah and Wyoming look like beautiful places to visit for a day or two… The LINZes looked really good in those outfits, they looked like they belonged in them and the time of the ‘ol Western… the other teams, not so good, the GODLEWSKIs were funny at first, but then got really annoying when they were seducing Buffalo Bill… Irma, Bill’s daughter, looked kinda scary sometimes, but her expression was funny during the Godlewski stuff… Christine did a great job at the DETOUR though, she literally carried her sisters on her shoulders… great job
I think the Chief wasn’t too keen on the WEAVERs when they were building the teepee… lol.. oh yeah, what was up with Linda Weaver and Megan’s “snooty wave” … Megan wasn’t even waving at her, she was talking to the Godlewskis or even the Bransens, not the Weavers… geez… paranoid… The disrespectful BRANSENs got another one of the best prizes in TAR history… First, gas for life (or for a couple years) and now a car… they are very lucky so far, which is why they will not win the million bucks…
It would be so sweet to see a TAR2-style finale where the Weavers would be running ahead to the finish line, but the Linzes outrun them when they arrive seconds later… but a Linz blowout would be fine 🙂 … GO LINZES!!!
