A witty, funny, and interesting comedy about a man telling his children about what happened when he basically met their mother. A sort of new-“Friends” with a twist.

SURFACE
While it does have its faults, NBC does with “Surface” what CBS and ABC can do with their respective alien thrillers; do special effects. The spectacular underwater scenes and the stellar cinemetography definitely carry the somewhat interesting and chilling story. Its no “Lost,” but its easy entertainment.

THRESHOLD
What it lacks in looks, it has in substance. Much better acting and much better story makes “Threshold” definitely more tolerable than “Surface” to most people. But it does lack that “adventure/fantasy” element that seems to catch most people’s eyes.
