American Dreams, Survivor, The Apprentice, Battlestar Galactica

AMERICAN DREAMS NBC
It’s funny but I just realized that Nathan is played by Keith Robinson… I didn’t know the actor’s name before, but just reading it now, it sounded familiar… and I remembered, he was the Green Lightspeed Rescue Ranger… lol, I think it was seeing it yesterday morning on ABC Family… lol…
And some bad news… for the season finale on March 30th… guess who’s back?
Milo Ventimiglia aka Chris… ugh… I thought we were done with him 🙁

SURVIVOR: PALAU CBS
That was stupid… a Home Depot challenge… geez, and here I thought that Jonathan and Wanda would come back… what a let down… this season’s challenges as defintely more physical… the producers are just waiting for a smackdown… lol

THE APPRENTICE 3 NBC
This episode was actually okay… Chris looked like he was about to jump George… he seems to be a pretty relaxed guy and then he just exploded in the boardroom… lol… John deserved to go, he was pretty annoying…

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA SCIFI
A great episode… that prophecy was eerie… pretty cool… very fast paced, but in a good way… I didn’t get Baltar’s line at the end about being “an instrument of God” … lots of “fracks” in this episode… someone is pregnant, lol… that celebration at the end, its like they found Earth or something… they didn’t celebrate like that when they found water…lol

POWER RANGERS: DINOTHUNDER vs. POWER RANGERS: SPD ABC FAMILY
THE FIRST SIX EPISODES

POWER RANGERS: DINOTHUNDER vs. POWER
RANGERS: SPD

THE FIRST SEVEN EPISODES

DAY OF THE DINO [PARTS 1 AND 2,
PREMIERE]

vs.

BEGINNINGS [PARTS 1 AND 2,
PREMIERE]

No question, Day of the Dino was the
better premiere by a mile. We got perfect introductions to the three core
rangers, we got the return of “the Great Tommy Oliver,” there was a lot of
unmorphed fight scenes, the morphed battle and the zord battle at night was
amazing, we met who would become one of the most evil and unrelenting villains
ever, and overall it perfectly laid the groundwork for the season.
Beginnings started out okay with the three rangers, but then it all
went downhill from there. The villain is a freakin’ prick, he lets a little
girl boss him around… what the hell?

BETTER PREMIERE: DAY OF THE DINO [PARTS 1 AND 2] … BY A MILE

WAVE GOODBYE

vs.

CONFRONTED

The 3rd episode is always the Red Ranger doubting
himself and him being able to deal with his new leadership role. SPD’s 3rd
episode didn’t do that. They made Jack look like an asshole which didn’t
end with this episode, he continues to be a jackass to the team. Sarcasm:
“what a great leader.”

In DinoThunder, Conner had to weigh his options and ultimately decide becoming
a Ranger was more important. Not only that, this episode set up Tommy becoming
the Black Ranger… AND the beautiful Emma Lahana sang at the end of the
episode.

BETTER EPISODE: WAVE GOODBYE

LEGACY OF POWER [PART 1]

vs.

WALLS

This is a tough one, Legacy of Power
was a clip show commemorating the 500th episode. It also revealed that Hayley
was a valuable ally. Walls, I have to concede, was the better episode.
We got to see more of Sky’s character and how he has done everything to become
the Red Ranger, the leader, but unfortunately he became the Blue. While this
story seems a little too serious for SPD, standing alone, it was a good
episode.

BETTER EPISODE: WALLS

BACK IN BLACK [PART 2]

vs.

DOGGED

Hmm… an episode focusing on the return of
“the best ranger of all time” or an episode focusing on a mechanical dog…
I think the former.

BETTER EPISODE: BACK IN BLACK [PART 2]

DIVA IN DISTRESS

vs.

A-BRIDGED

Diva in Distress was an excellent episode
solely on the fact that Emma Lahana sang again… but there were also other
reasons. We got another Conner/Kira moment… a great fight scene
in the parking garage… amusing subplot… the beginning of the Tommy/Zeltrax
fued… and we meet Dr. Anton Mercer (who would of course become an integral
part of the series). A-Bridged revealed that Bridge likes toast…
and lots of it… okay…

BETTER EPISODE: DIVA IN DISTRESS

GAME ON

vs.

SAM [PART 1]

Game On was one of the weaker episodes
of DT, but comparing it to Ocean Alert and Its a Mad, Mad
Mackeral
this episode was good. It had A LOT of unmorphed fight scenes,
and that is something we haven’t seen with SPD and their team of “models.”
Sam [Part 1] just added another annoying kid to the list of PR’s annoying
kids. This is a freakin’ two parter? WTF? This is a lose-lose situation.
Either this two-parter goes nowhere and its a waste of two episodes, or that
little kid becomes a Ranger… either way, its crap.

BETTER EPISODE: GAME ON
