Recap: The Amazing Race Canada 2, Episode 7 – Lest We Forget
The 7th Leg begins as teams learn they are flying to Normandy, France. This year marks the 100th anniversary of World War I as well as 70 years since June 1944 when 14,000 Canadians landed on Juno Beach. Jon says this Leg is a tribute to the brave men and women who have served the country.
At the airport, Alain & Audrey want to take this opportunity to get to know Pierre & Michel now that they’re both on top. But when Audrey tries making a little chit-chat, the twins think she’s a hypocrite. Continue reading
The third Leg of the Race begins. Since Daniel & Ryan won the step counter task from last Leg, they will depart the Pit Stop first instead of third with a 30-minute advantage.
They open the first clue telling them to travel by taxi to the Thai border where they will cross on foot before hopping on a bus to Bangkok. Once in the capital, they will head to the Now Travel agency for their next clue. Teams will receive $195 for this Leg. Continue reading
Kota and Ryoma get deeper into the Yggdrasill underground until Ryoma finds an elevator he knows was never there before. They get in and the elevator leads up to the energy mining room.
Kota immediately recognizes Rat and Rica, but then sees his sister. He hurries over to her and tries to yank the mask off her face. Continue reading
The ToQgers wake up in their now badly damaged Diesel, Tank and Car Carrier Resshas. Akira tells them he’ll try to do some quick fixes to them as soon as he gets Diesel-Oh up and running.
Baron Nero is mourning his Emperor’s demise. Madame Noire calls him to pay his respects to the Empress who has just arrived. But Nero bravely approaches Gritta, saying he will never serve her. Gritta zaps him and Madame Noire laughs. Continue reading
Recap: The Amazing Race Canada 2, Episode 6 – “She’s the Peirogi Poobah.”
The 6th Leg begins and teams must now fly to Winnipeg and find The Golden Boy at the Manitoba Legislative Building.
All teams are on the same flight and they arrive in Winnipeg at 11:30pm. They hurry over to the Legislative Building and can see the cluebox right through the door, but the building opens at 6am. Continue reading
It’s time to set off on the 2nd Leg of the Race, but Grant says first place team John & Murray have not yet left their hotel room. So 2nd place team Carla & Hereni will be the first team to depart the Pit Stop.
Teams must now fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia. The first four teams already depart before John & Murray wake up and leave 60 minutes after their scheduled start time. They’re not worried and are actually glad they’ve gotten some extra sleep.
The four teams at the airport are definitely not feeling John & Muzza’s overconfidence.
The teams are on two separate flights via Melbourne and Sydney, but all arrive in Siem Reap at the same time, 6:53pm Continue reading

Survivor a new season of The Amazing Race Australia. But this time, it will be a Race between five teams from Australia and five teams from New Zealand.
The teams are driven to the Starting Line in Uluru and Grant lays out the Race. There are 10 Legs in the Race and the winners of each Leg will win prizes “like never before.”

Recap: The Amazing Race Canada 2, Episode 4 – “They’re Harshing My Mellow”
Teams begin the 4th Leg of the Race by hopping on a high speed ferry to Macau. There is a sign-up sheet at the TurboJET ferry terminal for two ferries, leaving at 4pm and 4:30pm.
On the first ferry are Natalie & Meaghan, Cormac & Nicole, Ryan & Rob and Pierre & Michel. On the second ferry are Alain & Audrey, Mickey & Pete, Rex & Bob and Sukhi & Jinder.
Once teams arrive in Macau, they must head to the A-Ma Temple and take part in a traditional Buddhist ceremony to ward off evil spirits by lighting a string of firecrackers. Continue reading

Recap: The Amazing Race Canada 2, Episode 3 – “Snakes and Liars”
It’s the third Leg of the Race and teams find out they are leaving ol’ Canada and flying across the Pacific to Hong Kong.
With only one direct Air Canada flight from Vancouver to Hong Kong, Rex & Bob’s 5+ hour deficit is erased and all teams are on equal footing.
It is evening when teams arrive in Hong Kong. They must make their way to Lantau Peak and hop on a cable car up to Ngong Ping Village where they will seek a blessing from Buddhist monks at the Tian Tan Buddha. Continue reading
