So the penultimate leg of The Amazing Race China season 4. I thought this was a solid leg. I think maybe a little bit too linear for a penultimate leg. But it had a lot of great tasks. Actually all the tasks were pretty good. It’s just that most of them were first come, first serve / get in line tasks. Continue reading
So I do think this was a better Leg and episode than last week. But overall, it was probably the 2nd weakest of the season. Still, not too bad. Continue reading
So I think this Ho Chi Minh City Leg might be the weakest of the season so far. Vietnam usually yields solid Legs and TAR China has also been good at taking oft-visited locations and recycled tasks and making them fresh.
But I feel like this Leg lacks a bit of spark and that refreshing feel the other Legs this season have had. It wasn’t a bad Leg, but relatively speaking, it was the weakest. Continue reading
This was a very familiar Singapore Leg. TAR has frequently visited Singapore and they usually always do similar tasks. But I think this Leg was fine, especially for a Non-Elimination. (Which was very obvious considering we still have four Legs left with two more eliminations needed.) Continue reading
The Racers returned to China for this Leg. And kind of like TAR Canada returning home after an international Leg, this Leg in Hefei kind of felt very lackluster in comparison to the previous Leg. Continue reading
Leg 4 of The Amazing Race China 4 was very interesting. Not really a fan of the Leg Design this time though individually, I liked a few of the tasks. Continue reading
The Amazing Race China Season 4 continues with another great Leg, this time in Stockholm, Sweden. Continue reading
The Amazing Race China is back for another season and I am definitely excited. While I enjoyed the first two seasons of the new franchise, last year’s season 3 was amazing. I loved it. I thought it was the best Amazing Race season of 2016.
I’ve come to accept TAR China’s quirks, whether it’s the interesting filming schedule or their original twists. But I think things came together for season 3. Not only was it the most “normal” season so far, the casting to the locations to the tasks were all great. And you didn’t need to understand a single word of Chinese to enjoy it.
So I have high hopes for season 4. And so far, it’s delivered very well. Continue reading
As a big Amazing Race fan, I always like to check out the international franchises of the show. (Also since Amazing Race US has been on such a decline in recent years.) Continue reading
