Leg 4 – “Buwisit! Ang init!”

The 4th Leg of the Race begins and teams must now hop on a bus that will take them through Roxas, Isabela to Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

The first clue tells teams to find their next clue on a boat floating at Bayombong Capitol Park.

Teams will need to figure out that the boats are 40 small sailboats floating in a little pond at the park. Only 15 boats contain real clues and teams will need to reel the boats to “shore” to check if they are the correct ones.

The next clue tells teams to drive themselves in brand new Toyota Fortuners to a citrus farm 46 km away in the town of Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya.

There, teams will find the Detour. Nueva Vizcaya is known for its high quality citrus fruits. And in this Detour, teams will help prepare fresh fruits for delivery. The choice: Off the Tree or Into the Box.

In Off the Tree, teams must handpick enough oranges to fill three large crates, making sure to take care of the fruits and to not have any rotten or spoiled fruits in the bunch. Once they get their oranges approved, they will load the crates onto a delivery truck to receive their next clue.

In Into the Box, teams must sort through three boxes of assorted citrus fruits from the area into 5 separate crates according to type of fruit to get them ready for delivery. Once they’ve loaded those crates onto the delivery truck plus 5 pre-sorted crates of fruit, they will receive their next clue.

The clue merely tells the teams to search near the entrance of the farm from the main highway to find the next clue.

And here, they find…

The Double U-Turn!

After teams have checked-in at the U-Turn board, they can retrieve the next clue pointing them to Bangan Hill National Park. And there, they find…

The annual staging of the Stations of the Cross during Holy Week draws thousands of people to this national park. For this Road Block, teams will help recreate one of those scenes using a picture and local actors and props. After choosing a picture of one of the 14 stations, teams must correctly direct actors and place props to match the scene in the picture. Once they’ve correctly set the scene and paid attention to detail, they can receive their next clue.

Teams can now head to the Pit Stop, the Rizal Shrine Complex in Bayombong. The last team to check-in may be eliminated.

But they’re not. As this is the 2nd Non-Elimination Leg of the Race. The team in last must choose a Non-Elimination Penalty envelope.

On the next Leg of The Amazing Race Philippines: DryedMangoez Edition, teams get lost in a sea of hats and flowers. But the world’s largest arena could engulf one team’s chance at staying in the Race. *cue a team member hanging off the side of Philippine Arena screaming their head off*
