CBS Renews The Amazing Race for 19th Season!

CBS announced Sunday night that it has renewed both The Amazing Race and Undercover Boss for their 19th and 3rd seasons respectively.

But as always, it is only a one season renewal for TAR, CBS coming short of renewing it for its milestone 20th season.  CBS has always renewed Survivor for two seasons at a time. 

However, this renewal does bring The Amazing Race to its 10th anniversary having premiered in September 2001. And this doesn’t necessarily mean TAR won’t get season 20 in the Spring.

  1. Of course there will be a 20th season. You said it yourself, they’ve only renewed TAR one season at a time, so it’s nothing unusual. I wonder if they’ll be doing All-Stars again as a celebration? I don’t think so, but you never know…I’m loving this site!
