AMERICAN DREAMS: THE FOURTH SEASON (if there was one)
TVGuide’s Michael Ausielo talked with American Dreams executive producer Jonathan Prince and learned what would have happened on what would have been the show’s 4th season:

J.J. and Beth: “I was going to send J.J. to Berkeley to get his sister back and, while there, get exposed to a lot of the antiwar stuff,” says series creator Jonathan Prince. “He would eventually come home and work harder on the space program. And Beth was going to go back to school to get her degree.”

Meg and Sam: “Everybody wanted them to be together, which is why I think they couldn’t,” says Prince. “I was going to give Sam a really serious girlfriend.” Meg, meanwhile, would have fallen for Joey Lawrence’s Bandstand successor, “a guy who seemed superficial on the top and ended up being deeper than that. That’s who she would have ended up with. A local guy. The least likely guy you’d figure.”

Helen and Jack: Helen was going to get busted for helping potential draftees slip off to Canada, leading to a rift between her and Jack. “They would have separated,” says Prince. “But, obviously, they would have gotten back together.

EP 08-06: I’M SICK OF DOING STUFF I CAN’T DO

Well… where to start… the WEAVER family… I guess the chismis about them is true… Supposedly they were the only family who didn’t help the SCHROEDERS after Hurricane Katrina… and tonight we saw them calling other teams retarded as well as make fun of a GODLEWSKI’s boobs and Papa PAOLO’s occupation… Yay for them being YIELDed, boo to them beating the GAGHANs…

And the GAGHANs… Gosh darn it… they deserved to go farther, but their mistakes kept piling up and their Meredith & Gretchen luck just ran out… So sad seeing Carissa crying when they were Philiminated, kinda like when Charla & Mirna were eliminated…

The LINZes… the elusive “…you are team number one” … well, even though it would be nice to be the #1 team, as long you’re team number 1 in the most important leg of the RACE… the last one…

And the number one team for the 2nd time, the PAOLOs… they get more enjoyable every week… So freakin’ hilarious… They have become very endearing… lol…

The GODLEWSKIs are hanging in there and the WEAVERs are nothing special…

Another “needle in a haystack” ROAD BLOCK… this time, the GAGHANs almost suffered… well, they did suffer a similar fate to the last haystack ROAD BLOCK victims Lena & Kristy, only it wasn’t as severe, though they never caught up… and the DETOUR wasn’t all that exciting and am not surprised that they didn’t spend too much time showing it on the air…

It was fun seeing the teams gang up against the WEAVERs 🙂 especially at the bus station, the frantic screaming was hilarious, and it turned out that it didn’t make a difference anyway… Still, it was a very, very good episode…

And how about the stupid choice for the season 6 Amazing Achievement… ADAM??? WTF??? There were so many more amazing achievements in season 6, and they chose that crap? After last week’s crap of a choice, they top that with this week’s… Next week, watch them make Rombuh’s Road Block quitting the Amazing Achievement for season 7…
